3 MINUTE DIY CUTICLE OIL + LONG NAIL TIPS + RECIPE

The Key To Long, Strong, Healthy Nails

I massage cuticle oil into my nails anywhere from twice to five times a day. If I miss a day or two I risk breaking a nail as they get brittle quick.  It plays a big role in the reason my nails grow long and strong, because it nourishes, hydrates and strengthens my nails and surrounding area, especially the matrix.

Beware of what you buy in the store though, as a lot of store bought products marketed to help your nails grow are formulated with toxic ingredients and drying alcohols.  I've been making my own cuticle oil for years, but if you don't have time to DIY then Simon + Tom Nails & Cuticles Oil Saviour  is all natural and has a pretty good ingredient list.

The ingredients in this DIY cuticle oil work together synergistically to promote healthy nail growth.   And if used religiously (at least twice a day) my nails get so strong they do not break when I catch or knock them.  The plant oils are packed full of vitamins, minerals, proteins and essential fatty acids.  The three  essential oils are high in antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, cell regenerating properties and much more.  And best of all, it takes all of three minutes to make!

3 ESSENTIAL OILS

2 PLANT OILS

DIY CUTICLE OIL RECIPE

This is so quick + easy to make, and as always very economical. Use whatever oils you have, just make sure they are organic, wild crafted or at least 100% pure grade. Just pour all of your ingredients into your glass jar or bottle. And that's it!

PLANT OILS

ESSENTIAL OILS

4 drops Cypress

4 Drops Rose Geranium

4 Drops Lavender

*30ml Amber Glass Jar*
Use amber or cobalt blue glass as it protects the essential oils. I recycle everything in my kitchen, my cuticle oil jar was once a vanilla bean paste jar.

If you don't have a used vanilla jar or anything
